XR Sport Seats were just made for our customer Philip. The seat bottom was modified to fit his 65 Mustang with no mounting brackets. These seats have sliders attached to the bottom with fit directly into the original floor mount holes. This way the seat sits as low as possible and eliminates the need for a separate mounting bracket. We used all black tweed for these bucket seats with harness slots.
1956 Chevy Truck Bench Seat for Michael
This project was a little unique. I’m proud of the things that make us, as a company that provides a service, different from the others. We have our seat styles that we offer with certain foam shapes that are consistent and rarely change. What is “custom” about picking a Cerullo seat is the style of your choice but also the color and the material. These are all things picked by the customer. Sometimes the customer will desire to have a different upholstery pattern. Things like horizontal vs. vertical pleats, diamond pattern inserts, with or without headrests, maybe no pleats but add a stripe down the center of the insert are all things that may come up as a request. We are always open to considering these types of personal touches from our customers and we’re happy to accommodate, as long as it’s something I’m certain my craftsman are comfortable with and can execute beautifully. If I think it’s a little out of our expertise, I’m completely honest about it so that no one gets mislead and both sides of the transaction stay happy and confident about the project. Sometimes we have to say no, but I think this is what makes us special. We won’t take on something that “might” not work out. These cars and trucks that we make seats for are very special and the seats we create for them are a huge detail in the overall look once they are finished.
What an honor it is to be a part of each story. This bench seat we made for Michael’s 56 Chevy Truck was a cool project that had many personal touches from him. This aftermarket seat style is designed with a flat seat bottom but Michael wanted a little more security in the feel of the foam. We added a little bit more foam to the side bolster and about 1” more height to the bump just behind the knees. There isn’t a lot that should be done to this front part because the seat frame is already made to tilt upward enough and adding more height would make this area too bulky. Sitting in this seat, I can feel the foam hugging my body just enough and it feels safe an secure.
Diamond inserts were another upgrade he chose. So cool and modern. I like the diamonds with the distressed leather provided by Michael. He definitely knew what he wanted, so much so that he found the perfect leather to achieve the look he wanted, ordered it and shipped it to us to use. Very cool seat and a very cool vision we had the pleasure of bringing to life.
1957 GMC Truck Bench Seat for Marc
A few months ago, we made a bench seat with sport seat style backrests and center arm with cup holders for our customer Marc and his 1957 GMC truck. We used Katzkin Salsa Red vinyl with Snow White vinyl inserts. This is the brightest red you can get from Katzkin and the whitest white I could find from another source. Marc just sent us some update photos of his project. This seat looks amazing and his truck is really coming along. Great work Marc.
1990 Ford Bronco Front Seats and Rear Seat Cover
So the project got finished last week. The customer brought over his original rear seat out of his Bronco for us to recover. The condition of the seat was great. I don’t imagine he had a lot of people sitting back there often and vehicle is only 20 years old. Forgive the shadows on these photos, I took them last minute as the customer was picking up.
The grey vinyl and fabric inserts looks great and matched the Classics that will be going in the front. This can all be ordered now through us over the phone. Classic Bucket Seats for a 1990 Ford Bronco
I’m so excited to be working with this Ford Bronco crowd that has really been knocking on our doors a lot lately. So far the most popular seat style these drivers like is the Classic Bucket Seat. Mark, a local customer I’ve been working with for several months ordered a set with mounting brackets that will bolt directly into the existing holes in the floor from his factory seats. He’s also bringing me his rear seat to reupholster, so I’ll have the patterns to do more once we’ve finished.
He choose Charcoal vinyl with Reseda Silver fabric inserts. I really love this fabric insert idea, it turned out beautiful and comfy. I think a lot of people get worried about the dated look of the velour fabric, but done this way, I think it’s perfect for the truck. Clean and sleek.
1957 Chevy Sedan Bench Seat and Rear Seat
It’s been a while since I’ve posted. Here is a quick update. We made a bench seat with matching rear seat for our customer’s 1957 Chevy 2 door post sedan recently. He chose black vinyl with black tweed inserts and white stitching. I’m patiently waiting for final photos of his project with the seats completely installed. Should be amazing.
JailBreak Overlander 1997 FZJ80
We just had the pleasure of making a set of SC Sport Seats for a special customer. Richie, aka JailBreak Overlander, a popular Youtube personality ordered a set of SCs for his 80 Series Land Cruiser. This is a growing market for us so we’re very proud to have Richie represent our brand with his own personal touches in the design. He picked black leather with premium Outlaw leather inserts. He took some time deciding between Cerullo another well known seat company, but when it came down to it, he decided to BUY AMERICAN. Way to go, Richie, thank you for your trust and enthusiasm in us.
We’er about to ship these beautiful seats out to him, but unfortunately he’s broken down and stuck in Moab, Ut. Sounds like he’s been having too much fun out there. Pretty soon he’ll have these installed with his Cerullo seat mounting brackets we also made for him and we’ll get to see how he likes his new seats.

1982 El Camino Bench Seat
Who has the desire to have a silver seat, but you’re afraid of it looking too glitzy? Check out this El Camino seat we made for a guy in black vinyl with silver vinyl inserts. The vinyl looks like leather, you’d never tell the difference. We love using the silver vinyl because it gives just the right amount of shine without too much sparkle. Shazam is very proud of his restored 82 El Camino as he should be. Nice job on such a great looking car.
