The latest project we worked on was for a 99 Camaro Convertible. The customer chose tan SCs with the green and tan weave insert. The green and tan weave isn’t popular among our customers but its going to work in this car. The green will compliment the forest green paint on the outside well. You’ll notice on the photo below that we added a loop on a snap to hold the seat belt in place. We don’t always recommend this because I can’t guarantee the strength of the vinyl vs. how hard a driver or passenger is going to pull on these straps. They are small, not delicate, but not made for pulling hard. The customer acknowledged my concern and we agreed to add strong leather to the inside to add a little more strength. The straps will definitely be useful.
We also got the chance to recover his rear seat to match the front. The foam was in great condition so making a pattern off of his original covers was simple. Check it out.
